North Atlantic Ports Association
The records of the North Atlantic Ports Association measure approximately 2 cubic feet and cover the years 1949 to 1999. These records consist of two series, By-Laws and Proceedings of Minutes. Proceedings consist of resolutions, attendance lists, reports, notices and similar. Some Proceedings appear to be more detailed than others.

This collection documents the activities of the Board of Commissioners of Pilots of the State of New York, the licensing and regulatory body for maritime pilots in the Port of New York/New Jersey, Long Island and Block Island Sound, and Hudson River Districts. The collection includes log books for station boats, pilot boats, and incoming and outgoing ships; minutes of board meetings, personnel records, and tide tables.
