Captain Alfred Francis Olivet's Night Order Logs, 1946-1951

Scope and Contents Captain Olivet's night orders for the cruises of the Empire State II training ship from 1946, through 1950. Daily entries (typically a few paragraphs each) contain information about weather, sea, and traffic conditions, as well as orders to be carried out while the captain is resting.
