Scope and Contents
This series contains 19 technical specifications for ships and their parts in paperbound notebooks ranging from eight to 75 pages. The ship specifications are mostly for steamships designed to carry freight or oil, with one steel car float for railroad cars. Other specifications are for ships' boilers and engines.
Ten of the specifications were produced by the Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation, Ltd. Five others were produced by the United States Shipping Board Emergency Fleet Corporation, and the remaining specification was produced by the American Shipbuilding Company.
