Scope and Contents From the Series: A large quantity of photos were taken on cruises of the Newport (schoolship of the New York Nautical School), as a student (1911-1912) and then as Chief Engineer (1918-1922). Additionally, there are images of the reconstruction of Fort Schuyler in the 1930s (which became Maritime College's shoreside home) and images pertaining to Tode's time as Chairman of the college's Board of Visitors from 1942 to 1954.
