Scope and Contents This register contains students’ monthly, quarterly and yearly grade averages in the different subjects they studied at the New York Nautical School (now SUNY Maritime College). The ledger is organized by class (1st class, 2nd class etc.) and from 1914 onward the class are divided into departments (Deck or Engine).
