Abstract

The collection documents the life and career of Alexander Paul (1883-1956), a 1901 graduate of the New York Nautical (now SUNY Maritime College) St. Mary's whose maritime career culminated as an Inspector of Marine Vessels. Materials include a personal log book/diary with newspaper clippings and photographs, correspondence, documents related to Paul's career, and photographs.
